OFWs and Their Families Can Attend a Negosyo Expo & Win Prizes

Filipinos who are working overseas should be given proper knowledge and trainings to put their hard-earned money to good use. This is the reason why the Villar SIPAG (Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance) collaborated with Go Negosyo in organizing the 5th OFW & Family Summit.
According to Senator Cynthia Villar, a survey reveals that fewer OFW families allocate a portion of their incomes for savings and investment.

She said, “We already heard countless stories about OFWs who after working for a long time abroad, went broke because they had no savings or alternative way to earn. Programs should be initiated and regularly held to help our OFWs become successful even without employment abroad.”

For OFWs who want to venture into entrepreneurship, the 5th OFW & Family Summit is a great first step. Attendees have a chance to join in the raffle with prizes such as a house and lot and pangkabuhayan package. The said event will happen on November 26, 2015 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
